Large, upright, broad, deciduous ornamental fruit-tree (H 20-30 m, W 15-18 m). Crown broadly ovate to rounded. Bark longitudinally fissured. Leaves pinnate (20-30 cm), with 11-17 elongate lanceolate leaflets, green, autumn colour yellow. Male and female flowers separate, on the same plant, not remarkable, green. Flowering period: April. These plants grow well in sun or in partial shade. Usually they tolerate more sun and heat if given enough moisture; in partial or light shade they need less moisture.
