Description
Small, upright, widely spreading deciduous tree or large, bushy shrub (H 5-7 m, W 4-5 m). Crown ovate to broadly ovoid. Young shoots often very long (wattle-like), light olive green with white-blue bloom. Leaves broadly ovate (15-20 cm), pinnately compound, 3-9-lobed, variegated, with light grey-green and white spots, with a strong pink hue; autumn colour yellow to light orange. Flowers pale yellow. Flowering period: April-May. Fruits winged, in pairs (moderately acute angle), light brown-yellow. Ripening time: September-October. Undemanding, tough tree, normally withstands urban conditions, wind and occasional flooding.
