Description
Medium-sized, broad, upright deciduous fruit-tree (H 8-10 m, W 6-8 m), of strong vigour. Leaves ovate to elongate ovate (10-15 cm), with a serrate margin, dark green, autumn colour yellow to orange. Flowers simple, star-shaped, white. Flowering period: April-May, mid late, self-sterile, possible polinators: 'Giorgia', 'Burlat', 'Lapins', 'Summit', Bing', 'Hedelfinger'. Fruits round, medium-sized, dark red, very firm, juicy, sweet, slightly tart. Ripening time: June, mid late. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Requires deep, fertile, sufficiently drained, limy soils and an open, sunny site.
