Description
Large, vigorously growing deciduous fruit-plant, climber (H 5-7 m, W 5-7, depands on staking and pruning). Leaves palmate (15-25 cm), deeply 3-5-lobed, wrinkled, with a serrate margin, bright to dark green, lighter beneath; autumn colour yellow to orange-red. Flowers in racemes, numerous, bell-shaped (0,5 cm), yellow-green. Fruits in dense, wide racemes, round (1,5 cm), juicy, green-yellow to light yellow; good for fresh use and wine-making. Ripening time: August-September, early. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Suitable for smaller gardens, a very good plant for shade. A disease-resistant variety and easy to grow.
