Coconut net

The coconut grid is made of 100% natural biodegradable material made of coconut fibres woven into the net. It is used to prevent / control erosion and the occurrence of erosion ditches, to protect and stabilise the top soil or to establish vegetation in areas exposed to highly erodable soil conditions, intense rainfall and high water runoff rates.

The coconut grid is a useful and durable solution for both anti-erosion protection and stabilisation of banks, watercourses, lakes, in the construction of roads and other facilities, the arrangement of land, ski slopes, as well as for the establishment of vegetation.

When installed the grid immediately prevents surface erosion on steep slopes and adapts to any surface. With its tensile strength, it ensures soil stability, retains humus and provides the basis for plant growth, and prevents seed leaching. The material is completely natural and acts as a fertiliser when decomposing coconut fibres, thus accelerating plant growth. Due to good water absorption, it retains moisture and prevents the soil from drying out. When natural vegetation takes root, it stabilises the surface.

Laying the coconut grid is quick and easy. Fasten it with metal wedges made of steel (we recommend a wedge made of steel 36 cm x 6 cm x 36 cm, for flat surfaces a smaller wedge of 15 cm x 3 cm x 15 cm is sufficient) in a ratio of 2-4 pcs / m2. The inner edges must overlap (5 cm - 7.5 cm).

Cut by running meters 2 m wide and of any length (on a reel 50 m).

If you choose the delivery of the coconut grid|700 g| to your home, when ordering more than 20 tm/40 m2 or every 20 tm/40 m2, we cut the coconut grid, due to the weight limit/package (consequently, you are charged for the number of packages).
